The one pic Kadester would pose for on graduation day
Mom, Dad, the diploma, and me--Go TIGERS!!!Normally the term, lazy days of summer would apply to August. Not this August. Amid the fun days of an auction, my graduation and my parent's visit, along with the not so fun days of moving me out of my 3rd floor apartment, we worked harder as the temps heated up! Our days and nights were filled with daily trips, o.k. 3 x a day trips, to Home Depot and Lowe's (gasp!) bumping up their numbers, got joists and subfloor in, built and moved walls, ran electric, got HVAC in, and a lot of insulation installed. There are a lot of changes to the layout, most notably, the awesome archway Galloway constructed between the kitchen and dining room. So, in these last few days of August, as the days get shorter and as the excitement of college football grows, we're counting down to D-day, Drywall Day!
I took some time off to join Sarina and Kris in Florida for a wedding party and then joined my family and friends at the beach. Kade got a nice little Ohio State flag for the yard or the window from Pawley's Island. Kade worked really hard while I was away and the progress on the place is AMAZING! In addition to Kade, many thanks to our loyal building crew--Galloway, Goob and Elliot for their help!! More house pictures are on the way, I promise. The storage shed has hidden my usb cable.
